- Lose 10 pounds
- Be a better person
- Write that novel

Yes, just in time for the New Year - the workbook of Screenwriting Tricks For Authors is now available for Kindle (and if you have a PC, you don't need a Kindle - you can buy and download Kindle books for PC, now, and a Mac version should be available shortly. Information on Kindle for PC here.).

So those of you who have been diligently printing out these blogs, and frantically e mailing me for the ones you can't find, can have the whole deal, in coherent order, with assignments in every chapter, movie breakdowns, and links to all kinds of author and screenwriter resources.

Buy it now - $9.99

Happy New Year to all!

- Alex

Yes, very nice to have all this in one place. While I don't have a Kindle ereader, the Kindle for PC works just fine.

Now, I just have to find enough time to study this thoroughly enough to make it sink in.

The relationship of screenwriting (very rigid in timing, etc.) and the current more-flexible general fiction/novel writing is fascinating.

I'm a technical writer for 30+ years, so all this structure/architecture is music to my ears.

Thank you for putting all this together for us.

Since the retreat, I have used your Screenwriting Tricks (sweet Roger copied-LOL) and have completed the novel. Now with the edits!!! URGH!! Happy New Year!

If you could ever get this set up as a POD, I would buy it, but I loathe ebooks--merely my personal failing, I know! :)

I do want to thank you for providing so much great information in your blog articles. And Happy New Year!

I know, Santa - they got the PC version out pretty fast, so I'm hopeful - I'm a Mac person, too.

Oh, I'm not planning to lose ten pounds, Tonya, and I'm sure Winnie doesn't have to, either. Isn't that just the top NY's resolution of all time?

Mine along that line is DANCE more regularly - I did over Christmas and it was wonderful.

Great to see you here!

Thanks to BHU and Sheila and LeSan and all those who have already jumped right in to buy the book.

Please send on your suggestions and wishes, too - the great thing about Kindle publishing is that I can change things very easily!

Wyrd, I know, I'm not an e reader, either, but my agent doesn't want me to do POD yet. This Kindle thing is sort of an experiment - I'll post more about it when I have a little more time.

But at least it's available for some people, and it was easy for me - and again, completely changeable when I need to.

Your's is the first digital book I have bought. I don't have a Kindle but the PC version was super easy and I have been enjoying the ease of it very much. I actually like having your "Screenwriting Tricks" book directly on my computer because it is so incredibly easy to work with. Anyway, just an brief review on that part. I am currently working my way through the book. ;-)

I'm very excited about this book and can't wait to buy it, but sadly I'll have to wait for the MAC version.

Thanks for putting it all together, Alex!

I just got the SONY reader for Christmas... any way to get it for that platform? I'm guessing Kindle has different software... Might just have to buy this for my PC though. Your talks/blog posts are always inspirational and would be helpful to have all this great information in an organized at-my-fingertips ebook. Thanks for putting this together.

Well, thanks, LeSan - glad to hear it's working for you!

This really is an experiment, so I'm going to wait for feedback before deciding about putting it on Sony and other platforms.

But yeah, Kristine, I am impatient for the Mac Kindle to come out, myself!
