Remakes, remakes, as far as the eye can see...

No, I haven't seen THE OMEN remake yet - that would be tonight. (I admit I'm excited. Even if it's not great, it's still THE OMEN, right?) But browsing through a new open writing assignment list (the list of projects set up at film studios that are actively looking for writers) I could hardly help but notice (AGAIN) the number of remakes coming down the pipe.
